Sarah Najmark is the co-founder and CEO of Osium AI, an AI-powered platform enabling R&D engineers to develop new materials and chemicals much faster. Sarah is passionate about digital transformation of the industry, as evidenced by her commitment to helping international leading industry players transform and speed their R&D process.
Osium AI is backed by the renowned US accelerator Y Combinator, the most renowned start-up accelerator worldwide, based in California, raised 2.6M dollars from international investors and was granted additional 1M funding from Bpifrance.
Before that, Sarah specialized in materials science and AI, especially at Ecole Centrale Paris and Stanford University where she led AI research in the most prestigious labs and taught AI courses along with world-renowned professors such as Andrew Ng, Christopher Manning or Fei-Fei Li. She was granted the Centennial Teaching Award by Stanford University in recognition of the exceptional quality of her teaching.
She also spent three years at Google X, the moonshot division of Google in Mountain View, where she was a Tech Lead in AI, Product Manager and developed several AI technologies that she patented.
In October 2024, Sarah was awarded the 2024 Women In AI Prize by French Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne.
